This one came to me via EBay in July of 2006 (as have most of my art pages after the initial dozen or so!). During a slow period this and an MTIO 98 page came up at the same time, so I put the minimum bids in on both and, much to my surprise, won both. This issue should be forgettable - its the Thing and Torch chasing after a guy behaving irrationally, but somehow the art and story still have a lot of charm. Chic Stone does some really nice expressions on the Thing's face, plus, hey - this is the scene from the cover! You know, I hadn't even noticed that until I was putting this online!
