The game ended in 1900 when Random Events pushed European tensions over 100. No power took the Great war Penalty (obviously). A Chinese Rebellion occurred in 1896.
Two players stepped in late 1896 to finish the game. They were Jim Bailey and Mark O'English as Japan and Britain, respectively.
