The game ended in 1900. Minor Power Activity resulted in the Netherlands placing a Protectorate in Kaiser Wilhelm's Land. The ETI reached 100 when the pre-existing German influence there was forced to be downgraded at the end of Negotiations. No player took the Great War penalty.
There was one Chinese Rebellion, in 1896.
Ian Howard was France until he dropped out of contact during the 1884 Congress of Europe. Joshua Landrum took over as Russia for Joe Leonard during 1896 Negotiations.
