The game ended in 1896. Japan declared War on Russia over a Treaty violation. Succeeding declarations of war by America, France, and Germany, and treaty-breakings by Britain and Austria-Hungary drove the ETI over 100. As a result, all powers save Italy and Russia took the Great War Penalty. There was one Chinese Rebellion in 1888.
